    Except that the paper you cite contradicts the claim in the article, the one you appear to be trying to bolster. In fact it makes AstralMuffin’s point. It shows that female students outperform male students in all subjects, including math. But shows that the difference in math is smaller (in fact it is only very slight) compared to something like Languages, where girls dominate.nSo AstralMuffin seems to be correct, based on this (very large) meta-analysis: female students beat male students at math. It appea1 that “the fact that most girls their age do wo1e at math than the boys” is not actually a fact.
